There are many Lucky Charms in the world.  Ancient Chinese Sailors thought calico cats would bring them good luck, like lucky charms.  The book If Not for Calico Cat is written by Mary Blount Christian and it is illustrated by Sebastia Serra. This book has good pictures and it has Chinese in it. The main characters in the story are the Captain and Calico Cat. This book is about Chinese people putting a boat together. The Calico Cat tries to save them. I like this book because I like cats. I would recommend this book to my friends. I would also recommend this book to girls.
